<p>As the world responds to President Donald Trump&#8217;s &#8220;Liberation Day&#8221; tariffs, the president vowed on Friday to never change his policies.</p>
<p>Trump rolled out his so-called reciprocal tariffs on Wednesday, levying hefty taxes on imports from nearly all of America&#8217;s biggest trading partners. The president argues that the United States has been ripped off by the rest of the world and that tariffs will allow American manufacturing and jobs to come roaring back.</p>
<p>In a <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/114279756371714617" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post</a> on Truth Social Friday morning, Trump wrote, &#8220;TO THE MANY INVESTORS COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES AND INVESTING MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY, MY POLICIES WILL NEVER CHANGE.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO GET RICH, RICHER THAN EVER BEFORE!!!&#8221; he added.</p>
<p>The Trump administration is banking on tariffs to convince foreign and American companies to invest in U.S. manufacturing. The president has already credited his tariffs for bringing jobs back to the country after companies, such as South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, announced major investments in the United States. Trump also believes his tariffs will result in U.S. companies manufacturing their products in America.</p>
<p>As stocks took a tumble on Thursday in the wake of the tariffs announcement, the White House asked Americans to &#8220;trust in President Trump,&#8221; arguing that &#8220;we will see an economic BOOM in the months ahead.&#8221; The Trump administration received good news on Friday, as the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/we-cant-lose-march-job-growth-vastly-outpaces-expectations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">jobs report</a> showed that more jobs were added than expected. In response to the jobs report, Trump <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/114279844695644343" target="_blank" rel="noopener">touted</a> his economic policies, saying, &#8220;IT’S ALREADY WORKING. HANG TOUGH, WE CAN’T LOSE!!!&#8221;</p>
<p>The jobs report showed an increase of 228,000 jobs, with additions in health care, construction, transportation, warehousing, and retail.</p>
<p>&#8220;We blew it out of the water,&#8221; Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer <a href="https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/1908155663852634569" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> of the jobs report. &#8220;That was not what people were expecting, but they are responding to Trump&#8217;s vision and Trump&#8217;s economy.&#8221;</p>
<p>While some countries reportedly seek to negotiate new trade deals with the United States after Trump&#8217;s tariffs announcement, others are responding with retaliatory tariffs on American goods. On Friday, China <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/china-responds-to-trumps-liberation-day-announces-34-retaliatory-tariff-on-all-u-s-imports?topStoryPosition=undefined&amp;row=1&amp;elementPosition=0&amp;rowType=Top+Stories&amp;rowHeadline=Top+Stories&amp;author=Leif+Le+Mahieu&amp;title=China+Responds+To+Trump%E2%80%99s+%E2%80%98Liberation+Day%2C%E2%80%99+Announces+34%25+Retaliatory+Tariff+On+All+U.S.+Imports&amp;category=News" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> it would impose a 34% tariff on all U.S. goods after Trump hit the communist country with a 34% tariff. The European Union and Canada have also vowed to retaliate with tariffs on American products.</p>
